Strategic Advisor, Enterprise Clinical Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create clinical programs, workflows, and operational models that align with enterprise or business unit clinical priorities, ensuring they are feasible, scalable, and compliant with regulatory and quality standards.

• Convert high-level clinical strategies into detailed program frameworks, implementation strategies, and success metrics.

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of clinical programs: design, pilot, implement, and optimize, with a keen ability to swiftly identify operational gaps and collaboratively drive solutions.

• Ensure program sustainability by developing training methods for new clinical workflows, collaborating with clinical and operations leaders to enhance adoption.

• Develop materials, playbooks, and guidelines that promote consistency.

• Establish KPIs and outcome measures.

• Evaluate data sets to assess the effectiveness of impacted operations and overall program success.

• Generate data-driven insights that guide future planning and program execution.

• Create executive-level deliverables that clearly communicate the intent of clinical programs and their alignment with enterprise and clinical strategies, as well as project planning based on business needs and consumer challenges, including progress updates.

• Design and uphold program frameworks, initiative roadmaps, project plans, and implementation tools that facilitate effective change management and communication.

• Ensure robust cross-functional stakeholder engagement and alignment.

• Foster a close partnership with Clinical Strategy to sustain strategic objectives throughout program execution and share operational insights and optimization dynamics that will inform future strategic planning.

• Develop subject-matter expertise in key clinical areas to support enterprise clinical leadership, such as prior authorization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MPH, MBA, MHA) preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in program management, clinical operations, or similar roles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a talent for converting high-level strategies into practical program structures, implementation plans, and success metrics.

• Proven experience and natural ability to effectively navigate ambiguity in dynamic, complex, and evolving environments.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare materials suitable for executive audiences.

• Experience working collaboratively across matrixed environments with a diverse range of stakeholders.
