This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, enhance, and assist in the implementation of the NASA business strategy in accordance with customer priorities and GDIT’s strategic goals.
• Establish and nurture relationships with NASA stakeholders, including leaders within mission directorates, centers, and program offices.
• Aid capture and business development teams by formulating technical solutions, pinpointing growth opportunities, and positioning GDIT for upcoming contracts.
• Provide insights on NASA trends, emerging technologies, policy alterations, and strategic risks associated with human spaceflight, scientific missions, aeronautics, and enterprise services.
• Engage in customer meetings, industry events, and NASA working groups to boost GDIT’s brand visibility and strategic presence.
• Collaborate with operations, solution architects, engineering, and delivery teams to devise innovative strategies that tackle NASA’s mission challenges.
• Assess competitor strategies, market conditions, and customer feedback to recommend strategic modifications or investments.
• Offer mentorship and trusted counsel to senior leaders within the DES Business Area.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
• Over 15 years of experience supporting NASA or major federal science/engineering agencies.
• Proven track record in managing or advising on large, complex federal programs.
• Established connections within NASA leadership, program management, or technical communities.
• Strong knowledge of NASA missions, organizational structure, procurement processes, and enterprise service requirements.
• Experience with the federal proposal process, delivery, and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to convey complex technical and strategic ideas to executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel to NASA centers and GDIT locations as necessary.
