This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the formulation and implementation of a long-term strategic initiative aimed at preventing and eradicating family homelessness.
• Discover avenues to enhance Family Promise’s influence, encompassing geographic growth, program development, and heightened service effectiveness.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in housing, homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, and stabilization services to shape strategy.
• Identify viable business models for social enterprise opportunities and other approaches to guarantee long-term sustainability.
• Facilitate long-range visioning that positions Family Promise as a leading national entity in solutions for family homelessness.
• Promote a culture grounded in data that utilizes evidence to inform decision-making and illustrate impact.
• Supervise strategy related to data systems, performance evaluation, and impact reporting.
• Enhance the organization's capacity to communicate its impact to funders and stakeholders.
• Identify and nurture strategic collaborations across philanthropy, government, and the private sector.
• Manage comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives to boost recognition and engagement nationwide.
• Assist in the creation of new funding sources, including major initiatives and national campaigns.
• Lead the strategy for government relations and advocacy to promote policies that prevent family homelessness.
• Establish Family Promise as a thought leader through strategic storytelling and data-informed narratives.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, social impact, nonprofit management, or related areas.
• Proven success in fundraising, major gift cultivation, or business development to propel revenue enhancement.
• Preferred deep understanding of housing instability, homelessness, or related human services sectors.
• Established history of leading strategic planning and execution in complex, multi-stakeholder settings.
• Leadership experience in a rapidly expanding organization managing considerable scale and transformation.
• Experience collaborating with national teams or in federated models is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the aptitude to convert data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, inspiring staff, Affiliates, funders, and partners.
• Comfortable collaborating with faith-based partners and diverse communities.
