This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and Direct Training Strategy: Define and uphold the comprehensive training strategy, framework, roadmap, and methodology to facilitate the successful application of Metrik by users.
• Evaluate Training Requirements: Collaborate with project leaders, subject matter experts, business teams, and other stakeholders to pinpoint training learner personas, role-specific needs, and readiness factors.
• Create Scalable Training Solutions: Propose and execute training delivery models, learning pathways, training environments, and support systems that effectively cater to diverse user groups across state needs.
• Specify Training Deliverables: Identify the suitable combination of training materials and support resources (e.g., instructor-led training, e-learning modules, job aids, reference guides, videos, FAQs, office hours, etc.) to facilitate effective system use.
• Oversee Training Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with business, change management, rollout, and implementation teams to prioritize training, define learning objectives, set training timelines, and synchronize training-related activities across the project.
• Manage Training Content Development: Work with writers, subject matter experts, trainers, and other project resources to produce and maintain training materials, ensuring content aligns with project objectives, user needs, and system functionalities.
• Facilitate Training Implementation: Assist and coordinate the delivery of training activities, including scheduling, communications, trainer preparation, pilot support, office hours, training logistics, and post-launch learning opportunities.
• Collaborate on Organizational Change Management Initiatives: Work closely with change management, communications, stakeholder engagement, and rollout teams to align training activities with broader project readiness efforts.
• Assess Training Effectiveness: Establish and track training success metrics, learner feedback mechanisms, attendance monitoring, and other indicators to enhance training outcomes continuously.
• Foster Sustainability: Formulate recommendations and processes for ongoing training, onboarding, knowledge transfer, and long-term support beyond initial implementation.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor: Offer strategic advice to project leaders and stakeholders on training best practices, risks, dependencies, and considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required, including at least 4 years in a consulting firm environment.
• Proven experience spearheading training strategy and implementation for extensive technology, data, or enterprise system projects.
• At least 5 years of client-facing experience, including 2 or more years in project leadership roles.
• Experience in directing complex training initiatives across various stakeholder groups.
• People management experience is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in Public Health, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a dynamic consulting environment.
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing training strategies for technology modernization, digital transformation, or large-scale system deployment projects involving multiple organizations, agencies, or user groups.
• Lead training initiatives from strategy to implementation, covering training needs assessment, curriculum development, delivery coordination, and post-launch support.
• Develop role-specific learning programs and oversee the creation of training materials in collaboration with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
• Strong grasp of adult learning principles and instructional design theories.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication abilities, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Aptitude for translating intricate business and technical concepts into practical, user-friendly learning experiences.
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and structuring evolving environments.
• “Big picture” thinking combined with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through, ensuring successful execution of training strategy, activities, and deliverables.
