This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee intricate accounts to meet revenue objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with diverse buying personas to safeguard current business and discover new opportunities within existing clients.
• Formulate and execute account strategies.
• Possess knowledge and comprehension of business strategies.
• Collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Identify customer needs and present suitable solutions.
• Manage the sales funnel and provide precise forecasts.
• Attain revenue goals and quotas as specified in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Promote a TEAM selling approach to facilitate customer-centric solution development.
• Focus significantly on managing complex corporate accounts and enhancing share of wallet.
• Gain business insights to maintain an understanding of products, customers, and competitors.
• Submit timely forecasts and various ad-hoc reports while keeping accurate SalesForce.com data for account, contact, and opportunity pipeline management.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• A degree with a focus on Life Sciences is preferred.
• Experience working in a laboratory or technical environment.
• Proven track record in account or territory management within a life sciences or specialized field, demonstrating success in achieving established targets.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training.
• Proficient in writing reports and correspondence.
• Effective verbal communication skills with customers and/or employees across all organizational levels.
• Strong listening skills to comprehend presented information and diverse perspectives.
• Ability to influence internal teams to support customer and revenue objectives.
• Capability to establish direction through territory/account planning.
• Must approach business with a sense of urgency.
• Skilled in implementing sales processes, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting solutions, handling objections, negotiating, and closing to enhance territory performance and provide customer solutions.
• Ability to demonstrate market, customer, and competition understanding through business analytics.
• Competence in developing solutions and making recommendations to meet or surpass territory goals is essential.
• Frequent travel is necessary, typically involving multiple trips each month, as primary job responsibilities include travel.
• Some physical exertion may be required, such as extended periods of standing, frequent bending, lifting, and/or carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds.
