This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Assist Medline in its sales initiatives within a select group of complex or significant major accounts at regional, national, or strategic levels.
• Aid in the formulation of sales strategies and contribute to achieving new revenue objectives and service targets for accounts.
• Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts while generating revenue from assigned clients.
• Support all operational activities to ensure profitability, maintain existing sales volume, and foster sales growth.
• Play a pivotal role in increasing market share by implementing sales plans, strategies, objectives, policies, and procedures that align with broader corporate sales and marketing goals.
• Deliver outstanding customer support and fulfill required responsibilities to retain business and enhance profitability.
• Address issues promptly to guarantee that customers receive top-notch service.
• Maintain personal relationships with key clients within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate directly with other key sales personnel to initiate new accounts and address any "save" opportunities for at-risk accounts.
• Sustain current sales programs.
• Partner with the Medline Field Sales team to advance sales objectives and initiatives.
• Facilitate both formal and informal RFP processes.
• Develop and execute sales tools and programs; educate and communicate regarding activities and successes.
• Manage account program costs (e.g., advertising, rebates, buyback, and slotting allowance) while optimizing sales.
• Monitor customer sales performance against objectives and report results to management.
• Create and share reports, including specialized reports on contracts, programs, and focus areas with relevant partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or clinically related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in account management or sales.
• Proven experience in preparing business plans that align with and support selling strategies.
• Experience in developing and delivering technical presentations to diverse group sizes.
• Familiarity with and utilization of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• This position requires travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes, including overnight stays, both in-state and out-of-state.
