
Strategic Account Manager – Data Center, Telecom

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve or surpass set quotas for the designated brand/market.
• Participate in trade shows, engage with key organizations/groups, and possess a strong foundation in social selling (LinkedIn).
• Conduct outbound sales calls on leads and for business development.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers through video, phone, email, and live web chat.
• Assess opportunities and account potential through discovery questions.
• Deliver weekly sales reports, forecasts, pre/post travel documents, and monthly pipeline updates.
• Execute daily sales tasks from prospecting to following up with customers.
• Develop a robust sales funnel with new targets, growth accounts, and manage existing customer accounts to drive year-over-year growth.
• Handle RFQs, create quotes, and ensure follow-up to closure.
• Conduct customer discovery and suggest suitable associated products, including additional brand solutions.
• Craft solutions for customers with complex custom/special requests.
• Address customer issues, inquiries, and complaints in a professional and collaborative manner.
• Maintain a sales funnel to transform prospects into sales.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 8 years of strategic sales experience overseeing programs and business development.
• Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen with a customer-centric approach and urgency to meet strategic goals.
• Technical sales experience, with extensive phone interaction, account development, and a proven history of driving profitable growth.
• Comprehensive understanding of product lines and processes, market trends, and the industry landscape.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English, with proper grammar, sentence structure, and professional messaging and tone.
• General computer proficiency, including a solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams.
• Experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
