• Take full commercial ownership of a designated group of National and Broadline industrial distributor accounts, with a key emphasis on revenue enhancement and market growth.
• Actively seek out, pursue, and finalize new growth opportunities within established distributor networks.
• Formulate and implement robust account growth strategies to boost share of wallet while minimizing competitive presence.
• Facilitate the introduction of new products, conversions, and competitive acquisitions.
• Lead collaborative strategic business planning with distributors, establishing growth objectives and accountability through an MBR/QBR process.
• Negotiate pricing, program offerings, and commercial terms to secure business while safeguarding profitability.
• Work cross-functionally to harness internal resources that expedite execution and eliminate growth barriers.
• Keep precise forecasts, pipelines, and CRM reporting up to date.
• Stay informed about account performance indicators, including revenue trends, SKU penetration rates, inventory turnover, POS velocity, and search ranking positions.
• Leverage CRM analytics, POS data, and market insights to pinpoint white space opportunities, underperforming SKUs, and potential category expansions within each account.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in B2B industrial or MRO sales.
• Proven ability to drive growth through national or broadline distribution.
• Strong comprehension of industrial distribution business models.
• A demonstrated hunter mentality with a history of surpassing targets.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in CRM and sales analytics.
