This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the strategic direction and commercial performance of designated corporate accounts, focusing on revenue growth, retention, and expansion.
• Create and implement detailed account plans that align with customer needs, market trends, and Neogen's growth goals.
• Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities, whitespace, and pathways for cross-selling across the portfolio.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) that emphasize value realization, ROI, and strategies for future growth.
• Build and sustain multi-level relationships within customer organizations, including Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Operations.
• Lead a consultative discovery process to identify customer pain points, business drivers, and strategic priorities.
• Convert insights into customized solutions and value propositions that set Neogen apart in competitive markets.
• Develop, manage, and maintain a strong, high-quality pipeline that aligns with quotas and growth objectives.
• Implement thorough pipeline management and inspection rhythms, ensuring opportunity hygiene, accuracy in stages, and reliability in forecasting.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle, from qualification to closing, including deal strategy, negotiation, and risk management.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure smooth execution for customers, involving teams from Marketing, Technical Services, and Operations.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends, regulatory factors, and the competitive landscape.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in strategic or national account management.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, MS Dynamics) and effective pipeline management.
