This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• The Strategic Account Manager is tasked with delivering solutions to our clients by serving as a pivotal business leader for Invivyd's resources and offerings across a diverse clientele, which includes Health Care Providers, Health Care Organizations, Centers of Excellence, Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) Stakeholders, Veterans Affairs (VA) Centers, Reimbursement Personnel, and Practice Administrators, while ensuring collaborative efforts to resolve customer inquiries.
• Foster clinical discussions that motivate customers to advocate for their patients and engage the entire account to identify barriers that may hinder the provision of suitable solutions.
• Recognize common priorities and utilize insights and strategies within the entire account to formulate a strategic territory business plan that enhances product demand by addressing the needs of key partners and their patients, ultimately leading to superior outcomes.
• Work in conjunction with cross-functional partners to devise an overall account and territory strategy that maximizes both internal and external knowledge on accessing products and services.
• Compile customer and market data along with insights to effectively employ multiple channels for driving comprehensive selling engagements.
• Adopt a data-driven methodology to prioritize customers/accounts for maximizing impact in line with the strategic plan.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• At least 10 years of sales experience in the biopharma sector is preferred.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% within the geographic area is essential, including the ability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• The candidate is expected to spend five days a week in the field conducting visits while also completing all role-related administrative duties.
• A proven history of consistent high performance is necessary, along with expertise in navigating and successfully selling to large accounts and critical customer segments.
• Strong communication skills for relaying compliant clinical product information are required.
• A varied background in a matrixed environment with exposure to Reimbursement, Buy-and-Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, IDNs, and Federal channels is essential.
• A solid understanding and experience in adhering to laws, regulations, and industry codes (e.g., the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals) that govern appropriate interactions with Healthcare Professionals and Organizations is required.
• Demonstrates familiarity with the Veterans Affairs (VA) system within the territory and the applicable rules and regulations for conducting business within it.
• Must be results-driven and able to showcase effective time management skills.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of case management, market access, reimbursement, and the sales of medical benefit products.
• Experience working with Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Transplant, Hospital/IDN, Veterans Affairs, immunology, account management strategies, and new product launches is desired.
