• Become a part of the Strategic Customer team dedicated to enhancing, expanding, and solidifying Handshake’s partnerships with Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies.
• Take ownership of a portfolio comprising Handshake’s most vital customer relationships.
• Oversee the overall commercial partnership after the sale, in collaboration with the Client Success Manager.
• Responsible for fostering executive alignment, devising renewal strategies, negotiating contracts, planning accounts, and identifying new opportunities.
• Ensure that customers derive value from their partnerships while discovering avenues to broaden Handshake’s impact and presence.
• Work with a high degree of autonomy and engage with customers face-to-face to fortify relationships.
• Minimum of 5 years in SaaS account management, customer growth, or closing roles, with at least 3 years dedicated to enterprise or strategic customers.
• Demonstrated success in customer retention, contract renewals, and achieving expansion goals within a designated book of business.
• Experience in managing intricate six-figure enterprise partnerships involving multiple stakeholders and long-term relationship strategies.
• Excellent account planning and consultative selling skills, with the ability to pinpoint growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Capability to lead conversations at the executive level, articulate strategic value, and navigate complex customer organizations.
• High sense of ownership and accountability, comfortable working independently in prominent customer relationships.
• Strong forecasting practices, renewal management discipline, and operational rigor throughout monthly and quarterly business rhythms.
• Willingness to travel frequently and participate in face-to-face customer meetings, executive business reviews, and relationship-building events.
