This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Cultivate the business of the Account, engaging its various stakeholders, managing product selection, budgeting, and decision-making processes for purchases, while executing account growth strategies through cross-selling and upselling.

• Formulate and execute business and marketing plans within the designated account to establish clear business objectives, goals, and programs.

• Enhance collaboration with our Product Marketing, training, and R&D teams to ensure that the strategic account's requirements are recognized and integrated into new product development.

• Develop and strengthen the Product Marketing Management & Marketing Communications teams to create customized sales tools and presentations for the Regional Sales Manager and other teams as necessary.

• Achieve proficiency in articulating the capabilities of Genetec in relation to the needs of high-value potential end users.

• Strategically position, promote, and identify initiatives regarding the SC SaaS product line for specific and additional accounts.

• Deliver product demonstrations and commercial training sessions for account stakeholders.

• Identify customer needs, uncover opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, assist in RFx responses, and aid in the preparation of quotes and proposals.

• Keep Genetec sales management informed about account activities, trends, and opportunities through existing company communication channels.

• Collaborate with the Commercial Team to develop account strategies, ensure coverage, and follow up effectively.

• Diligently manage forecasts and meet quotas.

• Monitor and report on customer satisfaction levels.

• Update and maintain information in CRM or other applications.

• Acquire and maintain an accurate and comprehensive understanding of products, markets, and competitors.

• Support the Genetec Sales team in the development, preparation, and delivery of regularly scheduled sales performance reviews in line with the Genetec Channel Partner Program, including data analysis, performance against targets, and product sales metrics.


⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 10 years of high-tech sales experience, encompassing national and strategic account management.

• Exceptional communication skills; capable of conveying ideas clearly and effectively in person, via phone, and in writing; strong presentation abilities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills; adept at working independently with minimal supervision to translate broad directives into actionable strategies and meaningful activities.

• Familiarity with large-company business practices; ability to influence and leverage company management and key players to achieve growth objectives.

• Capacity to influence and build consensus among multiple stakeholders in group purchasing scenarios.

• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and foster relationships with essential stakeholders.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong understanding of complex technology systems.

• Demonstrated sales achievements and a proven track record.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within California.
