This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• The Strategic Account Manager spearheads the company's initiatives to enhance incremental profitable sales across various regions.
• Cultivates relationships and uncovers opportunities for business growth within both new and established strategic accounts.
• Collaborates with the Supply Chain Services department to manage the creation and presentation of customer proposals.
• Strives to foster innovation.
• Directs strategic initiatives aimed at generating valuable business prospects for both new and existing customers within the assigned vertical market.
• Engages with a multifunctional team to formulate a strategy that meets and surpasses revenue growth objectives by utilizing market intelligence, identifying prospects within new and existing accounts, and ensuring consistency with company, regional, and branch business goals.
• A minimum of a four-year engineering degree or equivalent substantial technical work experience is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in outside sales and/or business development, along with experience in an inside sales or technical sales capacity.
• Experience in initiating and negotiating agreements is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
• A strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint), internet, email, and SAP software is preferred.
