Strategic Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Cultivate business opportunities with new clients and expand the footprint within existing named accounts in the designated territory.

• Achieve or surpass quarterly revenue objectives in support of the regional business.

• Enhance revenue growth and customer outcomes through a comprehensive cross-portfolio sales strategy, leveraging AVEVA Strategic Sales Plays to create significant value for our customers’ businesses.

• Lead the account team to discover and drive new revenue opportunities, taking full responsibility for all commercial activities within the account from the inception of opportunities to the closure of contracts.

• Create and implement your Account Manager Business Plan, detailing your strategic and tactical methods for reaching your goals.

• Organize and plan all sales-related activities, from prospecting to closing deals, in accordance with the ONE AVEVA framework.

• Adhere to AVEVA’s Processes and Policies, along with any written or verbal directives from management.

• Identify, pursue, and cultivate relationships with C-Level clients, enhancing their understanding of their digital initiatives and business drivers through these interactions.

• Evaluate ongoing performance against your plan to generate monthly reports, which include long-term account strategies, current and proposed activities, customer visits, revenue status, and forecasts.

• Maintain and develop the customer pipeline in alignment with stage-gate forecasting protocols and ensure all activities are recorded within AVEVA’s CRM system.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in sales, account management, or business development, particularly in selling software solutions to Owner Operators, EPCs, or Design consultants.

• Proficient and experienced with IT solutions relevant to the industries served by AVEVA (Energy/Manufacturing/Infrastructure/Mining, Metals, Materials/Marine, etc.).

• Ability to gain insights into the customer’s business and investigate their primary challenges to align AVEVA’s solutions accordingly.

• Must be a self-motivated individual capable of developing new client engagements throughout the entire sales cycle.

• Skilled in engaging with various levels of stakeholders, from end-users to senior decision-makers within AVEVA’s target customer base, aligning their business challenges with our technological solutions.

• Strong comprehension of the business advantages provided by AVEVA's solutions and services.

• Capability to articulate product benefits and special offers, advising customers on how these may be personally beneficial.

• Commercial and analytical acumen to identify market trends and opportunities within your assigned territory, crafting dynamic business and account plans to capitalize on such opportunities.

• Excellent communication skills across all mediums – written, oral, email, presentation, etc.

• Fluency in English and the local language at a C1/C2 level is mandatory.
