This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans aimed at enhancing the adoption of the Alarm.com for Business platform while driving commercial revenue growth.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders across corporate and partner organizations.
• Collaborate with dealers and partners to pinpoint opportunities, position solutions effectively, and support sales initiatives throughout the customer journey.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for partners, customers, and industry stakeholders.
• Inform and empower dealers regarding the value and unique features of Alarm.com's commercial solutions to enhance market penetration and business expansion.
• Work closely with Commercial Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives, foster partner success, and execute go-to-market strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to partners, offering insights on industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential business opportunities.
• Represent Alarm.com at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to boost brand visibility and reinforce industry connections.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales Support, and Operations teams to ensure an outstanding partner and customer experience.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and share best practices with junior sales professionals and internal teams to enhance overall commercial sales success.
• Proven track record in business development, strategic account management, and revenue enhancement within the commercial security, technology, or associated industries.
• Familiarity with commercial security solutions, including access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, or related technologies.
• Demonstrated capability to generate new business opportunities while reinforcing and expanding existing customer and partner relationships.
• Strong consultative selling abilities, with the capacity to articulate value, influence decision-makers, and position solution-based offerings effectively.
• Experience in delivering presentations to customers, partners, and executive-level stakeholders, including product demonstrations and training.
• Self-motivated, results-driven individual with the capability to work autonomously and excel in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple opportunities, projects, and stakeholders concurrently.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proven dedication to providing outstanding customer service and fostering long-term business relationships.
• Team-oriented collaborator with a positive demeanor, adaptability, and a willingness to engage across different functions.
• Strong technical proficiency with the ability to swiftly learn and effectively convey new technologies and solutions.
• Willingness and capability to travel frequently as necessary to support partners, customers, and business goals.
• Experience in selling SaaS, subscription-based, recurring revenue, or managed service offerings is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience is preferred.
