This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with key supply partners to support Agoda's growth within the region.
• Engage regularly and meaningfully with Agoda's major supply partners.
• Analyze extensive datasets to propose customized solutions for Agoda's supply partners.
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving abilities to uncover new opportunities for expanding Agoda's business.
• Educate and inform clients about both new and existing technologies, tools, and models.
• Prepare materials to assist in business development during partner meetings.
• Address partner inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Secure buy-in from relevant stakeholders to implement strategies and launch promotional campaigns aimed at enhancing productivity and maintaining Agoda's competitive edge.
• Leverage product offerings to align with market demands, maximizing our potential to convert passive customers into active ones.
• Achieve country KPIs, growth objectives, and strategic initiatives.
• Assist the Area Manager in compiling country reports for senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in business development and/or account management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both external and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in the internet/e-commerce sector is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Team-oriented with a professional "get it done" mindset and work ethic.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring, developing, and sustaining long-term customer relationships.
• Adapts well to changes and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Strong proficiency in English.
