This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Oversee strategic account activities for significant prospects and clients, offering guidance throughout both pre-sales and post-sales phases.
• Identify opportunities within enterprise accounts by engaging in prospecting, building relationships, and understanding customer business requirements through a consultative approach.
• Develop account strategies and client proposals that effectively align GitLab's capabilities with organizational goals and transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, post-sales, and support teams to ensure a successful product implementation and customer adoption.
• Create a qualified sales pipeline in partnership with strategic channel partners while assisting in new customer acquisition efforts.
• Provide customer insights and product suggestions to GitLab's public issue tracker to ensure the customer's voice is represented.
• Prepare reports on activities and forecasts, assisting in the analysis of successes and failures to enhance future sales performance.
• Work together with marketing, account management teams, product managers, and technical teams to relay customer needs and share insights gained.
• Proven experience selling to large organizations and navigating intricate enterprise sales processes with multiple stakeholders involved.
• Capability to establish and nurture executive-level customer relationships, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
• Proficiency in consultative selling, including the ability to craft proposals, presentations, and formal quotes tailored to customer business needs.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, conveyed in a clear and effective manner.
• Comfort in working independently on complex projects while liaising with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English and French is required.
• Familiarity with GitLab or related tools, such as Git, software development tools, application lifecycle management, or security and application security tools.
