This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle – from prospecting to contract signing – to meet and surpass CPI’s sales and revenue objectives.
• Act as the primary representative of CPI for prospective clients.
• Strategically pinpoint, engage, and transform new opportunities within the education or healthcare sectors using targeted account-based strategies.
• Deliver persuasive, solution-focused presentations that meet customer requirements and highlight CPI’s distinctive value proposition.
• Establish and cultivate executive-level relationships, aligning CPI’s training solutions with client business challenges for optimal impact.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads, utilizing CRM and sales tools for precise activity tracking and forecasting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer care, to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful solution deployments.
• Provide valuable insights to leadership regarding industry trends, competitive activities, and client feedback to aid in strategic planning.
• Report on sales performance, customer interactions, and pipeline developments to leadership.
• Represent CPI at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to enhance market presence and forge meaningful connections.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory standards to position CPI advantageously.
• Carry out other position-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of successful sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in a ‘hunter’ sales role, with verifiable new business achievements.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Fulfill all Vendor Credentialing requirements to ensure unrestricted access to CPI customer locations.
• Consistently uphold all credentialing standards throughout employment to support essential job functions.
• Expertise in managing complex sales processes and influencing executive decision-makers.
• Strong business acumen with sound independent judgment in client interactions.
• Advanced consultative selling skills to identify needs and provide customized solutions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accountability for outcomes.
• Proven capability to multitask, prioritize, and organize effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• High resilience and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of frequent rejection.
