This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Take ownership of a designated portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts throughout ANZ, focusing on acquiring new logos and generating expansion revenue.
• Manage a structured, full-cycle sales process that encompasses prospecting, discovery, evaluation, negotiation, and closure.
• Develop and implement account strategies that align Cursor’s capabilities with the technical and business priorities of engineering leaders, CTOs, and developer platform teams.
• Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, executive mapping, follow-ups on inbound leads, partner referrals, and leveraging your own network.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to provide high-quality evaluations and ensure customers quickly realize value.
• Navigate intricate enterprise purchasing processes, including security assessments, legal negotiations, procurement, and multi-stakeholder approval workflows.
• Act as the representative voice of Australian enterprise customers internally, sharing market insights and deal learnings with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and GTM leadership.
• Contribute to establishing Cursor’s enterprise presence in Australia by developing repeatable processes, gaining local market insights, and securing early customer references.
• Regularly meet and surpass quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
• Minimum of 5 years of enterprise B2B sales experience, preferably in selling developer tools, infrastructure, cloud, security, AI, or other technical SaaS products to engineering-focused organizations.
• Proven experience selling to strategic or large enterprise accounts in Australia.
• Comfortable navigating complex buying committees consisting of engineering, IT, security, legal, procurement, finance, and executive stakeholders.
• A true hunter: proactively create a pipeline from the ground up through outbound prospecting, innovative sourcing, executive engagement, and consistent follow-up.
• Strong expertise in pipeline management, account planning, and forecasting for a strategic book of business.
• Passionate about technical products and capable of engaging in credible discussions with senior engineers, platform leaders, and CTOs regarding how Cursor integrates into modern development workflows.
• A self-starter who flourishes in an early-stage, resource-limited environment and can develop processes, playbooks, and regional insights as you progress.
• Have a deep interest in AI and believe that transforming how software is developed is one of the most critical challenges to address at this time.
