This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee and assist GitLab Industry Enterprise accounts.
• Create account strategies to address the specific business needs of targeted customers.
• Employ a consultative method that emphasizes value selling, focusing on customer ROI and Business Case development.
• Manage the complete sales cycle by engaging the necessary resources such as Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, Professional Services, Marketing, Executives, Partners, and the Channel.
• Utilize solution selling expertise to effectively address customer requirements and uncover business opportunities, fostering a strategic, long-term partnership with clients.
• Execute sales initiatives that include prospecting and developing opportunities within Strategic accounts, while creating a future project pipeline through individual outreach efforts.
• Lead the Business Development Representative (BDR) efforts for your accounts with a dedicated customer approach and outreach initiatives aimed at generating future PipeGen.
• Engage in discussions regarding business challenges with prospects and prepare a formal quote, written sales proposal, or a sales presentation tailored to their business needs.
• Assist in root cause analysis for wins and losses.
• Enhance understanding of the industry and the company’s competitive position.
• Share insights and lessons learned with the team, including account managers, marketing personnel, and technical staff.
• Provide leadership and direction for accounts during both the pre- and post-sales phases.
• Ensure the effective implementation and adoption of GitLab products through robust account management and coordination with pre- and post-sales engineering and support teams.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the customer, including their KPIs, and create plans that anticipate their business strategies and goals.
• Strong proficiency in using AI to enhance efficiency and productivity in alignment with strategic thinking for customer growth.
• Proven experience in selling to complex Enterprise organizations.
• Track record of consistently achieving and surpassing quotas.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities; comfortable presenting to C-Level executives.
• Experience in solution selling and articulating value to customers based on their specific needs.
• In-depth knowledge of Git, Software Development Tools, and Application Lifecycle Management.
• Proficient in using GitLab.
• Capable of adapting to temporary fluctuations in workload.
