This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Create and execute a detailed territory strategy, focused on winning approaches for target accounts, while modifying the plan and priorities to optimize outcomes for existing customers and their business growth.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align common goals and strategies, and secure their support.
• Predict business outcomes, including revenue and opportunities, with anticipated annual run-rate business sizes and ramp-up timing, incremental annual commitment values, strategic activations of essential cross-sell products, sales funnel oversight, and systematic follow-ups, utilizing SFDC and its supplementary tools as the authoritative source for business and pipeline management.
• Act as a proactive ambassador for Twilio's Mission, Vision, and Values, as well as the Corporate Story, to our customers, prospective clients, and any external partners involved in collaborations.
• Over 5 years of combined experience in high-touch sales focused on Japanese customers, with native-level proficiency in Japanese communication.
• Comfortable engaging with both business and highly technical leaders while effectively influencing their understanding and fostering supportive partnerships.
• Proven track record in business growth, including the development and execution of growth strategies.
• A challenger mindset with a strong desire to acquire new businesses and customers.
• Proven ability to achieve market-driven results, particularly with scale and enterprise clients.
• Proficient in understanding English at a business level and capable of written communication.
• Extensive experience with telecom companies, carriers, or global communications platforms is preferred.
• Experience in software, SaaS, CPaaS, or CCaaS with AI capabilities is desirable.
• Fluent verbal communication in English is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cloud Technology Sales, including IaaS/PaaS, virtualization, and security, is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with or working at System Integrators, Resellers, and Value-Added Resellers to enhance customer coverage with external partner organizations is a plus.
