This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Surpass revenue targets on both a quarterly and annual basis.
• Proactively respond to the distinct inquiries of customers and partners by offering precise information and customized solutions that cater to their individual needs and interests.
• Formulate business strategies that correspond with your designated territory.
• Strategically interact with customers and business partners to uphold a high standard of customer service that reflects SailPoint’s core values.
• Partner with marketing to create and implement marketing strategies through and with partners and end users.
• Actively pursue all leads provided and ensure that internal systems are kept up to date.
• Direct the relevant technical resources to showcase SailPoint's benefits to the customer.
• Conduct follow-ups with customers and collaborate with the post-sale team to guarantee consistent support of accounts, including identifying new sales prospects.
• Manage all elements of the sales cycle, from qualification to presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the territory, encompassing customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
• Recognize and convey all product and technological strategies utilized by competitive and complementary organizations within the SailPoint market landscape.
• Skillfully initiate, navigate, and manage discussions at every level within a customer’s organization, ranging from business stakeholders to technical decision-makers.
• Leverage all channel management and reporting tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and maintaining Salesforce integrity.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent global qualification in IT, business, or a sales-related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
• Anticipate approximately 50 percent annual business travel.
