• Meet the assigned revenue goals by marketing PTC’s Onshape solutions and services to leading global companies in the industrial and commercial product sectors.
• Establish strong executive relationships at key accounts to foster the trust and sponsorship necessary to advance sales processes and achieve closure.
• Provide sales strategies to cross-functional teams, including sales, presales specialists, product development, and global services.
• Oversee and navigate the complete sales cycle—from recognizing suitable business initiatives and creating a competitive value proposition to negotiating and closing deals.
• Demonstrate proficiency in forecasting and evaluating revenue opportunities.
• Analyze and comprehend the internal business processes of prospective clients.
• Quickly assimilate knowledge about relevant industries, Onshape solutions, and the advantages of the CAD and PDM Cloud model.
• Rapidly grasp the business impacts of Onshape solutions that are most beneficial to target companies and effectively communicate the business value to all organizational levels—from end users to executives.
• Utilize SalesForce.com for managing leads, forecasting sales, and documenting key sales activities.
• Successfully collaborate with necessary internal and external resources to facilitate sales cycles.
• Manage the new business sales cycle from the initial contact through contract negotiation and execution.
• Partner with an assigned Outbound Business Development Representative to identify target companies for new business sales cycles and assist with the execution of email and call campaigns.
• Achieve quarterly sales quotas.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, innovative, and resourceful.
• Proven track record in Enterprise Application Sales, particularly with cloud applications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to ensure professionalism with internal and external stakeholders.
• Capable of learning technical product details and conveying the value of solutions to customers, highlighting the positive business impacts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to achieve results on behalf of customers.
• Knowledge in design engineering, new product development, and operational functions within innovative product companies.
• Team-oriented and driven by goals.
