This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• Active listening: a thorough comprehension of customer objectives, strategies, and long-term goals to develop plans that reveal new revenue opportunities and solutions tailored to customer purchasing needs.
• Consultative selling: you will possess a creative and ambitious flair for driving new business and strategically managing customer solutions, showcasing an extensive understanding of revenue management and hotel technology.
• Hyper collaboration: collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to craft a successful strategy for driving growth, ensuring SiteMinder becomes the preferred partner for Groups & Chains in the region.
• Stakeholder management: influencing and engaging with a diverse range of internal stakeholders across multiple departments (Product solutioning, Onboarding, Support, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success).
• Proactive engagement: executing plans to enhance product adoption, service satisfaction, product updates, and customer feedback.
• Revenue protection: ensuring customers are dedicated to term agreements and managing the contract renewal process effectively.
• Travel requirements: frequent travel within the region to participate in trade shows, conferences, and Quarterly Business Reviews with high-value accounts.
• Hotel or travel industry experience: a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality/hotel sector and the travel technology landscape, along with the framework of large hotel groups.
• Experience in SaaS sales or product/technology partnership management: substantial experience in consultative selling to C-level executives within a technology or hospitality-travel technology firm.
• Proven track record of closing over $1 million in new business.
• Strong communication abilities to build rapport and establish trusted, long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Capability to unite multiple stakeholders internally and externally to align buying authority and knowledge bases.
• Excellent negotiation skills to address objections and navigate intricate buying structures to influence various buying personas.
• Consultative approach to solution selling, presenting as a subject matter expert in the hospitality technology domain.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage expectations effectively.
• Highly resilient self-starter, thriving independently, with a positive attitude towards securing deals.
• Proactive and persistent in identifying opportunities.
• Language requirements: Fluent in English, with proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese being an advantage.
