This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary client liaison for assigned accounts, collaborating closely with senior account leadership.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of clients’ business objectives, challenges, and strategic priorities.
• Assist in transforming client visions into actionable strategies and high-quality outputs.
• Contribute to the formulation of annual strategic and tactical plans, brand initiatives, and project-specific plans.
• Establish trust with clients through effective communication, responsiveness, and strategic insights.
• Proactively suggest ideas and recommendations to enhance brand performance and client engagement.
• Aid in defining the scope of work, developing budgets, and managing account finances throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee budgets and team productivity to ensure that work is delivered within the agreed scope; alert when requests exceed scope.
• Assist in forecasting upcoming work and resource allocation; notify leadership of potential risks or changes.
• Identify potential growth avenues and new business concepts, sharing insights with the account team.
• Collaborate with program management to create project briefs and lead or assist in kickoff meetings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee alignment on strategy, timelines, and client expectations.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables by reviewing for accuracy and readiness prior to client submission, while working with senior account team members for final approval.
• Help manage workload and prioritize tasks to keep projects progressing and ensure billability for self and team members.
• Engage in, and at times lead, client meetings, status updates, and planning discussions with healthcare professionals.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, scientific advancements, and competitive landscapes pertinent to clients.
• Continuously enhance strategic, financial, and client management competencies.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in medical communications, agency account management, strategic account support, or a similar client-facing role, OR an advanced doctoral-level degree (e.g., PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent).
• Experience directly interacting with pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and engage in strategic discussions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
