This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +4 more states.
• Formulate and implement Good Store’s growth strategy aimed at increasing revenue, operating profit, and customer lifetime value while promoting its mission.
• Discover, assess, and initiate growth opportunities, including product offerings, partnerships, sales channels, and new market prospects.
• Define business goals, KPIs, and operational practices that align with strategic objectives.
• Oversee daily operations encompassing product merchandising, inventory management, website content, and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Operations and Customer Service to monitor service levels, accuracy, and customer satisfaction while resolving issues.
• Create inventory and purchasing strategies that balance demand, cash flow, warehouse capacity, turnover, availability, and data integrity.
• Manage relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and strategic partners while negotiating commercial terms.
• Enhance systems and processes for scalability, efficiency, resilience, and sustainable growth.
• Work alongside executive leadership to ensure cross-functional alignment and overall company health.
• Propel customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through advertising, social media, email marketing, SEO, and partnerships.
• Advocate for the complete customer experience from product discovery to post-purchase support.
• Collaborate with creative teams to produce brand assets that reflect Good Store’s mission and offerings.
• Utilize customer insights, analytics, and market trends to guide product strategy and business decisions.
• Partner with Hank and John Green in content creation and promotional efforts.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, profitability, cash flow considerations, KPI reporting, and operational targets.
• Report on Good Store performance and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.
• Ensure compliance with Commercial Co-Venturer and trademark licensing agreements and fulfill charitable commitments.
• Oversee Good Store’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, registrations, renewals, and brand protection.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead the Good Store team.
• Build organizational capacity and cultivate future leaders.
• Foster a positive relationship with the DFTBA Workers Union.
• Demonstrated experience as a General Manager, Director, or in a comparable leadership role within an e-commerce or digital enterprise.
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels.
• Proven track record in driving revenue growth, scaling operations, and improving customer experience.
• Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced growth environment.
• Must successfully complete a background check via Checkr.
• Position is exempt and not part of the DFTBA Workers Union bargaining unit.
