This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, implement, and manage enterprise SAN/NAS and storage virtualization solutions for critical systems.
β’ Create storage strategies, standards, and policies that adhere to organizational and federal compliance requirements.
β’ Lead intricate storage projects, including migrations, upgrades, and integration with both cloud and on-premises environments.
β’ Ensure storage platforms are designed for high availability, data integrity, and scalability across SEC environments.
β’ Administer and enhance large-scale enterprise storage environments, including proactive monitoring and health management.
β’ Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure service continuity and avoid resource limitations.
β’ Diagnose and resolve complex storage incidents, including latency, throughput, replication, and platform stability challenges.
β’ Establish and monitor operational metrics and trend analysis to support service-level performance.
β’ Design and maintain enterprise backup and recovery strategies to safeguard mission-critical data.
β’ Implement and verify disaster recovery and business continuity storage controls, including cross-site replication and recovery readiness.
β’ Ensure retention, recovery, and data protection practices comply with organizational policy and federal regulations.
β’ Support audit readiness by maintaining storage documentation, configuration baselines, and proof of implementation.
β’ Direct storage workstreams for migrations, technology refreshes, and modernization efforts while minimizing operational disruptions.
β’ Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, virtualization, and cloud teams to integrate storage services comprehensively.
β’ Perform risk assessments and suggest remediation strategies for storage resiliency, security, and operational risk.
β’ Mentor junior engineers and act as the storage Subject Matter Expert (SME) for incident response, strategic planning, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a relevant technical discipline.
β’ Over 12 years of experience in enterprise storage architecture, design, and administration.
β’ Proficiency in SAN/NAS technologies, storage virtualization, and enterprise backup/recovery solutions.
β’ Experience in leading complex storage migrations, upgrades, and integrations with cloud and on-premises environments.
β’ Advanced skills in storage performance tuning, capacity planning, risk assessment, and disaster recovery strategies.
β’ Must fulfill contract citizenship/work authorization requirements.
β’ Capability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust suitability (or higher, if necessary).
