Sterile Processing Technician – Live Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct 60-minute large-group “review sessions” (20-30 students per session) focused on key curriculum and CRCST areas over a span of 14 weeks.

• Lead stimulating and motivational sessions that enhance student confidence in the material.

• Independently prepare for live sessions (up to 3 additional hours each week).

• Collaborate with Springboard’s learning team to create and adjust all session agendas and lecture presentations, as this is a new program.

• Create gamified learning experiences utilizing tools such as Kahoot and others.

• Offer two live session options per week to cater to various time zones.

• Conduct tool demonstrations as required.

• Assist with CRCST exam preparation by organizing review sessions towards the end of the course.

• Address student inquiries regarding course material via email as necessary.

• Attend to other needs as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience as a sterile processor, with a preference for experience in a hospital-based sterile processing department.

• Valid CRCST certification through HSPA (certification must be current).

• Required prior experience in teaching, training, or precepting in Sterile Processing, with a strong emphasis on online or hybrid teaching environments.

• Capability to simplify complex sterilization and infection prevention concepts for students without prior healthcare backgrounds.
