Statistical Programmer I, Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Conduct statistical programming for designated projects

• Provide high-value and high-quality services

• Continuously review own work to guarantee first-time accuracy

• Employ efficient programming methods to generate low- to medium-complexity derived datasets, including SDTM and ADaM

• Create tables, figures, and data listings

• Maintain and enhance both local and international regulatory knowledge within the clinical sector

• Build expertise in SAS and familiarize with processes and procedures across other Parexel functional areas

• Keep supporting study documentation in accordance with SOPs/Guidelines for traceability and regulatory compliance

• Ensure adherence to SOPs/Guidelines, ICH-GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant regulations

• Take part in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections as necessary

• Strong analytical abilities

• Understanding of the programming and reporting processes

• Familiarity with SOPs/Guidelines, ICH-GCP, and relevant local and international regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11

• Capability to learn new systems and adapt in a changing technical environment

• Detail-oriented

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a global team

• Proficiency in working within a quality-focused environment

• Effective time management skills to achieve daily metrics or team objectives

• Dedication to consistently delivering high-quality work

• Proficient written and spoken English

• Strong communication skills

• Educated to degree level in a relevant field and/or possess equivalent work experience

• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree-level education requirement
