Statistical Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop tailored analytics and reporting solutions for McLean & Company members, utilizing tools such as R, Python, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint to clean datasets, update existing scripts, create custom report templates, and present final reports in a polished, client-ready format.

• Analyze survey data for the Diagnostics team and the wider HR Research teams by extracting and merging data from our comprehensive suite of diagnostics, including Engagement, New Hire, and Exit surveys.

• Spot opportunities to enhance reporting by suggesting clearer data presentations and improved calculations that bolster validity, reliability, and actionable insights.

• Familiarize yourself with McLean & Company's proprietary survey platforms.

• Engage in ongoing data collection and cleaning initiatives, as well as process improvement projects.

• Offer an additional layer of quality assurance and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Serve as a technical resource for inquiries related to data.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed as the team and product offerings continue to expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics) or in Human Resources, Sociology, or Psychology with a strong emphasis on quantitative/statistical coursework.

• Proficiency in R and/or Python.

• Strong skills with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience and comfort in a customer service setting.

• A Master’s degree is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in SQL and Git.

• Experience with employee lifecycle surveys.

• Experience or familiarity with HR data and People Analytics is highly preferred.
