This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design, construct, and oversee scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure utilizing GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Create infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Apply SRE practices to guarantee the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud services.
• Develop and sustain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Conduct capacity planning and demand forecasting.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications through Kubernetes.
• Utilize Helm to package, deploy, and manage Kubernetes applications.
• Design and establish CI/CD pipelines for both applications and infrastructure.
• Create automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure that infrastructure and applications comply with security and compliance standards.
• Implement security best practices and conduct security audits and assessments.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and operations teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or comparable roles.
• Strong expertise with AWS, GCP, Azure, and cloud-native services.
• Proficient in Terraform, Helm, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with AI-OPS.
• Familiarity with SRE principles, such as error budgets, SLIs, SLOs, and incident management.
• Solid knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and GCM.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Harness.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of best practices in cloud infrastructure and application security.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
