This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee cross-functional development from initial concept through to delivery, enhancing the delivery lifecycle across various organizational teams.
• Align and influence stakeholders in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Product, and Finance regarding roadmap planning and the execution of extensive infrastructure programs.
• Proactively identify technical risks, map complex interdependencies, resolve uncertainties, and remove obstacles.
• Provide data-driven updates to senior leadership regarding program status, milestones, risks, and change control measures.
• Design and refine organizational processes to boost delivery speed, efficiency, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to operationalize and enhance company-wide availability standards (SLAs/SLOs).
• Conduct thorough post-incident root-cause analyses to maximize uptime and minimize Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).
• Implement automated monitoring of cloud expenditure and spearhead initiatives for infrastructure cost efficiency.
• Empower engineering teams to take ownership of and optimize their infrastructure expenditure.
• Mentor and nurture talent within the program management domain.
• Bridge the gap between high-level business requirements and intricate architectural decisions.
• A minimum of 7 years of technical program management experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure, reliability, or platform engineering at scale.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing large, multi-team software initiatives across globally distributed organizations and various time zones.
• Strong technical expertise with experience in facilitating discussions and contributing to design choices related to back-end architectural systems and platform ecosystem scalability.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capability to influence teams without formal authority, manage conflicting priorities, and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer (SWE/SDE), Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or DevOps Engineer is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, global telemetry/monitoring tools, and distributed database scaling is advantageous.
• Experience in leading large-scale migrations and decoupling efforts from monolithic backend databases and codebases is preferred.
• Familiarity with leveraging AI technologies or automated tools within engineering workflows to enhance developer efficiency and lifecycle tracking is a plus.
• Strong product insight to advocate for platform infrastructure initiatives and translate technical successes into business value is preferred.
• Candidates must reside and work remotely from within the United States.
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
