This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the implementation and communication of significant, high-stakes cross-functional programs that necessitate comprehensive alignment throughout the organization.
• Create and uphold detailed technical roadmaps and tactical timelines, balancing immediate delivery targets with Stack’s long-term vision for commercial independence.
• Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to synchronize engineering teams, advance technical initiatives, and unify the organization around common objectives.
• Evaluate plans and requirements in collaboration with engineering leads to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and efficiently expedite the development and deployment timeline.
• Assess intricate technical and resource trade-offs in limited settings, presenting clear options and recommendations to leadership.
• Transform detailed technical progress into impactful insights for senior leadership, providing data-driven arguments that assist executives in making tough decisions during reviews and all-hands meetings.
• Design and enhance engineering processes within your programs, creating operational frameworks that minimize friction and boost efficiency across the organization.
• Investigate new, highly complex technical areas as required, proactively stepping in to address leadership, execution, or process voids to ensure program success.
• Significant experience as a hands-on engineer before transitioning to a TPM role, particularly in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or technology sectors is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing the integration of highly complex, multi-domain technical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively present to and engage with executive leadership in a dynamic setting.
• Familiarity with standard agile software development lifecycles and waterfall hardware development lifecycles.
• Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a proven capacity to foster deep, trusting relationships.
• Capability to comprehend dense, complex technical discussions and accurately extract key conclusions, action items, and trade-offs.
• A highly organized approach with a focus on both breadth and depth regarding technical details.
• Proficiency in standard TPM tools (Managing burndown lists, Developing Roadmaps, constructing dependency maps, facilitating workshops, and effectively utilizing processes in Jira).
• A proactive attitude characterized by a readiness to boldly engage with unfamiliar areas and rapidly learn new technical domains.
