This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate on the engineering organization's transition to an agent-first Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee cross-system integration and interoperability of the organization-wide AI workflow, ensuring effective communication among agents in Core Platform, SRE, and Support.
• Partner with AI Engineering to guarantee operational readiness for AI-driven capabilities and systems, including establishing clear escalation paths, incident management procedures, and Go-to-Market preparedness.
• Provide leadership for development initiatives and guide the comprehensive delivery of the most intricate projects across multiple teams, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Serve as a change advocate responsible for initiating and guiding multiple organizations through necessary pivots in response to changes in business trends and priorities.
• Promote Technical Program Management best practices and develop leading-edge software development processes.
• Leverage deep technical expertise and domain knowledge to shape the strategic direction of teams and the department.
• Define and monitor enhancements to quality and performance metrics across complex projects involving multiple teams.
• Create methods for ongoing communication regarding planning, program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• As a remote-first company, work will occur across various time zones, and you may occasionally need to perform duties outside your standard working hours.
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience within software teams as a Technical Program Manager or Development Manager.
• Experience in machine learning, preferably in applied contexts where models or AI systems were developed, integrated, evaluated, or operated in production environments.
• Working knowledge of Agentic AI, including machine learning, model lifecycle, and data pipelines.
• Experience designing workflows that utilize AI to enhance execution (coding, triage, diagnostics) without compromising system quality or increasing on-call burdens.
• Proficiency in providing in-depth technical, product, and user context to AI systems to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Experience in delivering complex projects or solutions that involve collaboration across different groups within an organization.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to all organizational levels, whether it's conveying your team's analyses and recommendations to executives or discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
• Skilled at persuading stakeholders and leadership to develop systems, solutions, and products.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.
• Familiarity with common software development tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins) and public cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.).
