Staff System Software Engineer, AOSP – Android OS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop high-performance firmware and software for innovative IoT platforms

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and validate firmware on intricate multi-core architectures

• Implement automated and unit-level functional testing to ensure design validation

• Contribute to and provide insights during architectural discussions for future business logic

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and test features at various levels

• Validate and sustain features utilizing cloud-based analysis on a large scale

• Assist in the design and development of on-edge IoT platforms

• Construct next-generation hardware platforms for Motive

• Design and create modular software features within a collaborative agile framework

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software development

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and C++

• Extensive experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project), Android OS, and Linux

• Familiarity with embedded programming on Linux and/or RTOS

• Candidates must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies regulated under U.S. Export Administration Regulations
