This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Source and acquire specialized goods and services for NGDS Weapon Systems
• Manage contractual agreements with suppliers and oversee the complete supply chain lifecycle
• Create Long-Term Pricing Agreements and other necessary contractual documents
• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate terms and conditions for intricate, high-value contracts
• Prepare bid packages, facilitate bidder conferences, perform cost/price analysis, and select or recommend subcontractors
• Collaborate with contracts, legal, engineering, quality, planning, operations, finance, program management, and end-users
• Monitor supplier performance, including KPIs, quality, and timelines
• Lead Supply Chain Management Teams
• Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, NATO contracts, public-law requirements, and company policies
• Maintain documentation that is ready for audits
• Identify cost-saving and risk-mitigation strategies through effective negotiations
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to program risk and opportunity management and apply Lean Six Sigma for ongoing improvement
• Conduct market research, cost/price analysis, and KPI tracking; implement corrective measures
• Coordinate import/export operations with trade compliance and logistics teams
• Implement and manage high-value contracts
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years, or high school diploma/equivalent with 16 years
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience based on the lowest education level
• Relevant experience in subcontracts, purchasing, contracts, project/business management, or finance
• Experience in executing large compliant procurements
• Proficient in negotiating terms and conditions
• Experience in managing supplier performance
• Background in cost/price analysis and market research
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS or equivalent business law
• Proficiency in CostPoint or SAP ERP systems
• Expertise in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret clearance or higher
• US citizenship is required
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Government Acquisitions, Contract Management, Project Management, Business Management, Finance, or a related field
• Ability to negotiate large contracts effectively
• Strong presentation skills directed towards senior leadership
• Expertise in U.S. Government and commercial subcontracts, various contract types, and specialized payment provisions
• Knowledge of Price Cost Analysis
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team
