Staff Solutions Engineer – Level 4

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales leadership to deliver technical insights on our most significant and intricate opportunities, assisting in the identification and validation of use cases to demonstrate the value of the Omni platform.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) for our largest and most complex evaluations, guiding potential customers on how to effectively utilize Omni with their data.

• Provide technical guidance across the Solutions Engineering team — mentoring SEs and establishing best practices for discovery, demonstrations, and POCs.

• Collaborate with Product leadership to influence the product roadmap based on insights gathered from the field.

• Represent the Solutions Engineering organization in strategic, executive-level discussions with customers.

• Ensure a seamless transition from trials to successful customer relationships by working alongside post-sales teams and engaging with our partners to plan for ongoing support as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of pre-sales business intelligence experience, with extensive background in pre-sales Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture roles supporting enterprise clients.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the modern data stack, encompassing cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift), transformation tools (e.g., dbt), and the wider analytics ecosystem.

• Demonstrated success in leading technical discovery, product demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and technical evaluations involving senior business and technical stakeholders in enterprise accounts.

• Proven experience in mentoring or leading other Solutions Engineers and shaping team-wide technical methodologies.

• Proficient SQL skills, utilizing SQL for analytical purposes.

• Outstanding consultative communication abilities with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.

• Previous experience with business intelligence and/or enterprise data analytics tools preferred (such as Looker, Omni, Tableau, PowerBI, Mode, Sisense, etc).
