This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist field sales in demonstrating the advantages of the Kong API/Connectivity Management platform to customers.
• Comprehend customer needs and how the Kong platform can address them.
• Facilitate Proof of Concepts (PoCs) throughout the complete evaluation process.
• Guarantee 100% customer satisfaction across the designated accounts.
• Prioritize customer requirements and liaise with support, product, and engineering teams.
• Develop technical documentation for DevOps, implementation processes, and service engagements.
• Enhance top-of-funnel marketing efforts by crafting blogs, hosting webinars, and engaging in trade shows and field events.
• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering and/or sales engineering management within a SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise Software environment.
• Strong grasp of cloud computing trends and open-source business models.
• Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes and other cloud-native platforms.
• Familiarity with APIs, CI/CD automation frameworks, as well as AI and LLM technologies.
