Senior Solutions Architect, Datacenter, Cloud

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional technical expertise in designated areas, supporting various Key account teams throughout the organization.

• Establish trust with clients through extensive subject matter knowledge, unwavering integrity, leadership abilities, and consistent professionalism.

• Propel service sales within their specific focus area.

• Maintain a close alignment with our services teams and the overall organization.

• The Senior Solutions Architect comprehends our diverse service capabilities, takes the initiative to communicate pre-sales strategies to the services teams, and provides suitable leadership during project execution.

• Offer industry-leading services to our Account Managers, sometimes taking the lead and at other times supporting them, by supplying high-quality pre-sales documentation (materials list, statements of work, design insights, vendor details, diagrams, preliminary cost estimates, etc.) promptly.

• Commit to continuous learning – Senior Architects must continuously enhance their skills to fully serve our clients and stay relevant as the IT and AI landscapes evolve.

• Align with our vendor partnerships, understanding and assisting in the execution of specific vendor programs.

• Provide guidance to clients as they operate and transform their businesses, proactively suggesting technical solutions and educating them on the advantages of Presidio-Led solutions.

• Engage in consultative selling – actively listening and progressively developing the sales dialogue until the client clearly articulates their needs, at which point we can begin to present our solutions.

• Act as a trusted advisor to our key clients.

• Lead, when appropriate, with our premier offerings – managed services, consulting, etc.

• Grasp the full spectrum of Presidio’s capabilities, paying close attention to the strengths of other practices and national teams.

• Share best practices and industry insights with fellow team members.

• Provide support to colleagues as necessary (workload management, specific expertise required, etc.).

• Assist with tracking the sales pipeline.

• Identify and advocate for the most effective professional services vehicle to ensure successful execution with our clients.

• Maintain industry relevance (both local and national) by engaging in industry-related social media and attending OEM, technology, and customer events.

• Sustain long-term lifecycle strategy relationships with clients, capable of engaging at all levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military background.

• Over 7 years of experience demonstrating a substantial level of expertise in storage, virtualization, compute, converged, cloud, or related technologies/services.

• Relevant work experience with OEM manufacturers and/or experience with IT solution providers/VAR/partners.

• The ideal Datacenter-Focused Senior Solutions Architect will possess operational and design skills related to some or all of the following strategies, products, and technologies: The Artificial Intelligence Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) utilizing Dell Technologies storage and backup solutions, Everpure Storage, other storage systems such as NetApp, HPE, VAST Data, Broadcom, VMware, Nutanix, Dell Servers, Cisco UCS Servers, HPE Servers, Hyperconverged solutions from Nutanix, VMware, and Dell, appropriate storage protocols and their hardware components (NFS/CIFS/ISCSI/FC), and cloud architecture strategies utilizing any of the following: Microsoft / Azure technologies, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Automation and orchestration strategies, UI Path, VMware Automation and Operations, Ansible, Red Hat.
