This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Developing and implementing structured technical enablement programs for GSI and cloud partner teams, which include bootcamps, workshops, certification pathways, and a scalable partner readiness framework designed to identify and bridge technical maturity gaps.
β’ Serving as the Matillion technical lead during joint partner-led sales cycles, assisting partner Sales Architects in discovery, solution design, and technical validation, while collaborating with Alliances and Sales to initiate co-selling opportunities with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and other cloud marketplace partners.
β’ Managing the complete technical onboarding experience for new GSI and cloud partners, from initial product orientation to delivery readiness, with defined milestones and the capability to independently demo, implement, and support Matillion within agreed timelines.
β’ Acting as the internal representative for the partner ecosystem by highlighting product gaps, feature requests, and integration requirements to Product and Engineering, while empowering internal field teams to effectively communicate partner-led Matillion use cases.
β’ Enhancing Matillion's visibility and credibility within the partner ecosystem through technical thought leadership by writing blogs, white papers, and solution briefs, and representing Matillion at partner QBRs, conferences, and joint field events across the United States.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect, Partner SE, or Technical Presales role within the data, analytics, or cloud ecosystem, demonstrating a successful history of enabling GSI or cloud partner teams at scale, including the delivery of training programs and certification frameworks.
β’ Extensive hands-on expertise in data integration, ELT/ETL architecture, and modern cloud data platform design, with practical experience in Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse, as well as proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
β’ Proven capability to build relationships and navigate complex partner organizations, effectively collaborating with GSI practice leads, cloud alliance teams, and C-suite stakeholders, while being equally comfortable in technical deep-dives and executive briefings.
β’ A natural facilitator with a proactive approach, energized by teaching and empowering others, capable of managing multiple partner programs concurrently without compromising quality, and thriving in a high-autonomy setting.
β’ Commercially savvy and technically opinionated, able to delve into architecture while also considering business impact, bringing conviction to every discussion while maintaining a genuinely collaborative spirit.
