Staff Solutions Architect – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Solutions Architect serves as Temporal’s main customer-facing technical authority within the Enterprise team (East).

• Collaborate directly with prospects and clients, guiding teams through technical assessments, architectural considerations, and implementation strategies.

• Assist customers in successfully adopting and progressively utilizing Temporal in production environments.

• Work closely with Account Executives to facilitate both initial engagements and ongoing expansions.

• Manage essential technical relationships and position Temporal favorably against competing technologies and architectural frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the Eastern time zone (United States).

• Exceptional skills in technical communication, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.

• In-depth knowledge of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.

• Expertise in creating application prototypes and offering design, development, build, and deployment support using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.

• Strong understanding of operational factors in production settings, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.

• Capability to provide clear insights on architectural subjects, including application patterns and platform architectures.

• Experience with at least one major cloud service provider and familiarity with widely used application development and production services.

• Ability to act as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, aiding in opportunity scoping, identifying technical risks, and navigating intricate evaluations.
