This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a team of engineers focused on creating and designing products for customers and associates.
• Develop, test, deploy, and sustain software applications.
• Adopt a comprehensive, global perspective on technical challenges.
• Create functional, destructive, and various test suites to facilitate rapid production deployment.
• Assist in the selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and monitoring of products and tools.
• Contribute reusable foundational code components, architectural diagrams, and product documentation.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure user stories are ready for developers, clear, and testable.
• Engage with team members in agile methodologies.
• Address inquiries from product and engineering teams.
• Provide insights on contemporary software development frameworks and steer technical discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and identify areas for improving team productivity.
• Support enhancements in architecture, cloud migration, application modernization, and technical direction across teams.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience is necessary.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications within modern cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Large Language Models.
• Experience in creating AI-driven features and integrating AI services into applications.
• Proficient in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Capability to balance roughly 30% front-end and 70% back-end development tasks.
• Back-end development experience with object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java.
• Skilled in building APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of implementing authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Experience in unit, integration, functional, performance, and automated testing.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, performing root cause analysis, monitoring, and resolving production issues.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in designing systems that are highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable.
• Background in performance optimization, disaster recovery, and achieving operational excellence.
• Experience in modernizing legacy applications through refactoring, architectural improvements, and cloud migration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of contemporary software design patterns and engineering best practices.
• Exposure to planning technical roadmaps, estimating work, and making architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Product, UX, Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams.
• Flexible remote/virtual work arrangement.
