This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the creation of test automation frameworks spanning UI, API, and GraphQL layers, with an emphasis on reliability, maintainability, and speed.
• Design and implement AI evaluation frameworks to evaluate the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of features powered by LLM.
• Utilize AI-driven development tools like Cursor and Claude to expedite the processes of test creation, debugging, and code generation.
• Direct the technical implementation of performance testing and monitoring solutions.
• Create custom reporting and analytics tools to deliver insights regarding test coverage, flaky test rates, and quality metrics.
• Promote the adoption of advanced testing technologies and methodologies.
• Enhance test execution pipelines for quicker feedback in CI/CD environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to incorporate shift-left testing practices and instill quality ownership within teams.
• Lead root cause analyses for critical issues and advocate for systematic improvements to avert future occurrences.
• Engage in code reviews to ensure that testability and quality considerations are addressed at an early stage.
• Offer technical guidance to QE engineers on best practices for automation, framework utilization, and AI tools.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering roles, including at least 2 years at a Staff/Lead level.
• In-depth expertise in testing TypeScript/JavaScript and contemporary frontend ecosystems (such as React, Webpack, or similar).
• Expert-level knowledge of Playwright or similar browser automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium WebDriver) for end-to-end testing.
• Strong background in unit and component testing frameworks including Vitest, Jest, or React Testing Library.
• Demonstrated success in designing and building test automation frameworks from the ground up or significantly enhancing existing frameworks at scale.
• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Buildkite, GitLab, or similar) and how to integrate and optimize test suites within them.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs, including writing integration tests, mocking schemas, and verifying query/mutation contracts.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (k6, Lighthouse, Artillery).
• Experience in visual regression testing (Percy, Chromatic, Playwright visual comparisons).
• Practical experience with Allure or similar test reporting/analytics platforms.
• Understanding of AI/ML-powered products and the unique testing challenges they entail (such as non-deterministic outputs, data quality, and model evaluation).
• Background in SaaS, fintech, or market intelligence sectors.
• Proven track record in enhancing developer experience through initiatives like test tooling plugins, custom ESLint rules for test quality, and documentation-as-code practices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Understanding of AI/LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude to accelerate test authoring, code reviews, and debugging.
• Experience in building or configuring MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
