Staff Software Engineer – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and development of essential components and frameworks that act as the foundational elements for our Agentic AI platform.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to grasp their needs and requirements, creating platform solutions that enable developers to craft innovative applications on top of it.

• Foster a growth mindset by continually researching and keeping up to date with design patterns, techniques, and technologies that attract developers to platforms and frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to establish the infrastructure that supports ML workflows, ensuring efficient and seamless execution within enterprises.

• Offer production support and troubleshooting expertise to guarantee the platform operates smoothly and address any performance or scalability issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship or Greencard is necessary due to US Government contract stipulations.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 8–10+ years of experience in software and platform engineering, with a proven track record of designing and managing large-scale distributed systems.

• Extensive experience in building platform infrastructure and backend systems that cater to multiple products and engineering teams.

• Proficient in Rust, with experience in designing and developing high-performance systems. All performance-critical areas are developed in Rust.

• Proven expertise in database architecture and scalable data systems, including distributed databases, storage and indexing systems, data modeling and schema design, and high-throughput and low-latency data access patterns.

• Experience in designing systems that accommodate AI and machine learning workloads.

• Familiarity with workflow engines, execution runtimes, and AI orchestration frameworks.
