This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create and establish the events-first infrastructure
• Develop the SDKs and optimal pathways
• Set the technical benchmarks
• Enhance production visibility for AI agents

• Extensive software engineering experience, generally 8+ years, with a focus on software development rather than primarily operations or systems administration
• A proactive, current coder proficient in multiple languages, including Kotlin and Ruby
• Prior direct experience in constructing an observability or telemetry platform and its SDKs
• Expertise in event-driven and high-cardinality systems
• Proficient understanding of open standards and instrumentation
• Ability to implement substantial changes in unclear codebases
• Skilled with AI coding tools and large language models (LLMs)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Nice to have: Experience in a regulated or fintech setting, knowledge of Kubernetes and progressive delivery methods like Argo Rollouts, familiarity with columnar databases such as ClickHouse, and experience in building observability for LLM and agent-based workloads.
