Staff Software Engineer – Marketing Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and steer the technical vision for the marketing content platform with a product-first approach.

• Oversee and engage in the complete development lifecycle, encompassing technical design, implementation, testing, experimentation, and deployment.

• Develop an agentic platform that facilitates the creation of onsite and offsite marketing content in a no-code environment.

• Evolve the platform into an AI-powered system that transforms marketing briefs into actionable campaigns.

• Take part in code and design reviews, offering constructive feedback.

• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.

• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, creative, design, product, and various cross-functional teams.

• Deliver adaptable, efficient, and scalable solutions that contribute directly to business growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of practical software engineering experience.

• Bachelor's and/or Master's/PhD degree, ideally in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proficiency in backend systems with extensive service-oriented architecture.

• Practical experience in architecting and developing agentic systems.

• Familiarity with Java and/or Kotlin, LangGraph, GraphQL, relational and NoSQL databases, Redis, and microservice architecture.

• Enthusiasm for efficiency, availability, and quality in systems.

• Excellent communication skills with a proven record of driving initiatives across teams, departments, and leadership.

• Must reside in a location where Airbnb, Inc. maintains a registered entity.
