Staff Software Engineer, Identity & Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance platforms for authorization, authentication, and user management.

• Collaborate closely with security teams to ensure systems are designed with security in mind.

• Lead projects independently while working with a team based in Helsinki.

• Advocate for robust testing, observability, and reliability practices throughout the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in constructing and managing identity, authentication, or authorization platforms at scale.

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Maven, SQL, GraphQL, gRPC, and REST.

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Knowledge of identity and security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and SAML 2.0.

• Comprehension of event-driven architecture patterns; experience with TDD or a strong interest in automated testing.
