Staff Software Engineer, Backend – FinHub

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop foundational backend systems prioritizing performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Lead the strategic technical direction for intricate, cross-team projects.

• Create and refine platform best practices, frameworks, and architectural standards.

• Offer in-depth technical mentorship and influence design decisions.

• Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape the team's technical roadmap.

• Integrate AI into engineering and operational processes for enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in building and managing large-scale distributed systems in a production environment.

• Extensive knowledge in backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java).

• Demonstrated success in designing systems that are highly available and high-performing.

• Background in ledgering, trading systems, or high-precision transaction processing.

• Capability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives.

• Practical experience with Go, Kubernetes, and Postgres.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI.
