Staff Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance scalable, robust, and high-performing backend services and APIs.

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the engineering team, providing training and skill enhancement for developers.

• Lead by example by addressing intricate technical challenges and producing clean, maintainable code.

• Establish and uphold organization-wide best practices for system architecture.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Platform, and AI engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in backend software engineering.

• Extensive knowledge in designing distributed systems and modern APIs (REST, GraphQL).

• Proficient programming abilities in contemporary backend languages (Python, Go, or similar).

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineers.

• Strong understanding of public cloud environments and containerization technologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of modern data storage and processing methods.
