Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

• Design, develop, and sustain essential reliability components.

• Diagnose intricate production challenges and enhance PostgreSQL utilization.

• Direct initial investigations during significant production incidents.

• Develop scalable, reusable tools and frameworks.

• Utilize AI-driven tools and coding agents to expedite development.

• Shape reliability best practices throughout the engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java/JVM, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance backend systems.

• Strong grasp of distributed systems principles, including high availability, the CAP theorem, and fault tolerance.

• Extensive experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and key-value/non-relational storage systems (Redis).

• Practical knowledge of containerization and cloud-native environments, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Capable of working autonomously with minimal oversight, employing critical thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, suitable for collaboration in an international engineering setting.
